The TETFund Office was established to handle and process all issues and documentation on flow of information and funds from TETFUND as directed by the University Management from time to time.
The Unit is under the office of the Vice Chancellor.
The TETFund Office has been instrumental in the provision of the following TETFund Intervention Projects in the University:
+ Procurement of Textbooks, Computers, Furniture for the E-Library and Ancillary Items for the Library: 2008-2010 (Merged) TETFund Intervention in Library Development. The items have been fully delivered and in use by staff and students. The E-Library has been fully commissioned.
+ Student Centre Building: 2013 TETFund Special Intervention Project. The Building has been completed, occupied and in use. The building contains a Conference Hall and Offices for the Student Affairs and Student Union Government.
+ Workshop and Laboratory Building for Department of Petroleum Engineering: 2012 TETFund Special Intervention Project. The Building is 90% completed. The Building will serve as Workshop and Laboratory for Petroleum Engineering and Laboratory.
+ Entrepreneurship Centre: 2011 & 2013 TETFund Entrepreneurial Project: The Building is 100% completed. The Building will be utilized for the training and acquisition of entrepreneurial skills for students. The Building presently serves as a temporary office accommodation for staff of Environmental Management and Technology.
+ Block of Classroom: 2014 TETFUND SPECIAL INTERVENTION PROJECT: The Building has been completed and in use.
+ Classroom Blocks: 2013 – 2014 TETFUND NORMAL INTERVENTION PROJECT. The Building has been completed and in use.
+ Academic Staff Development, Research and Conference Attendance: The University, through the TETFund Office has successfully accessed the allocations from the 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 TETFund Academic Staff Development and Research Grants for the sponsorship of staff to various Workshops, Conferences, Researches and Capacity Development.
