Upon successful completion of the programme, students must collect a clearance form from the Postgraduate School.
The first step is to obtain the signature of the Head of Department, who will confirm that all academic requirements for graduation have been fulfilled. Next, the form should be taken to the University Librarian for endorsement, confirming that the student has no outstanding obligations to the Library. The form is then submitted to the Bursary Department, where it is verified that the student has no financial debts to the institution. Finally, the clearance form is returned to the Postgraduate School, where the Secretary verifies that the student’s project, dissertation, or thesis has been duly submitted and that all required corrections from the external defense have been implemented.
